MOSCOW, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation remained flat from January 23 through Monday, and amounted to 0.3% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Wednesday.
In the reported period, prices for frozen fish, curd, millet, and salt grew 0.2–0.5%. But pork, poultry, chicken eggs, sugar, and buckwheat prices fell 0.3–0.7%.
Fruit and vegetable prices increased 0.4% on average. Prices for potatoes, cabbage, onion, carrots and apples rose 0.6–1.4%, while prices for cucumbers and tomatoes fell 1.2% and 0.7%, respectively.
Gasoline prices remained flat on the week and diesel fuel prices rose 0.1%.
